Old Friend - John Moriarty
« on: June 26, 2005, 02:55:51 PM »
I had a good friend, John Moriarty - He had red hair and green eyes and lived at 100 Bluebell Rd., Worcester with his father also named John, brother Paul, and mother. Attended Clark University in 1972, but I lost track of him when he left Clark iin 1973.  Sure would like to know what happened to him. He was a good friend.  Still wonder what ever happened to him.

I went to high school with John but I left Worcester in 1971 so I have no idea what happened to him.  He was not a very happy person when I knew him, alot of family problems I think. He was a nice guy though. I know someone from that area that may be able to tell me about him, Problem is I dont see this person very often. When I do though, I will ask about John and let u know if I find out anything.
Do you know if his parents still live on Bluebell?

John's parents have been dead for a long time.  His father passed away in 1985, step-mother in 1993, I think.  Thanks for replying.

He was an 8th grade teacher at the old Belmont St School in the early to mid 60s. Maybe the School Admin can help

Thanks Tim,

I think that the person you are thinking of was John's (late) father, John J. Moriarty.  Thanks for the reply.

I did not know John but I met his brother, Paul, in the fall of 1980 in the Washington D.C. area. He was a captain and JAG in the Army but was finishing
his tour of duty and moving to Orlando, Florida to be an assistant D.A. We stayed in touch off and on after his move and we would see each other,
occasionally when he had an Army Reserve weekend in the D. C. area. from 1981 until 1989. We lost touch after I married and moved out of the
country in the summer of 1989. Paul did not talk about his family very much but perhaps, if you find him, you can find your friend, his brother.
