While cleaning out some files, I came across an insurance policy issued by the State Mutual Life Assurance Co of America which, at the time, was located in your city. The effective policy date is 4/1/1976. I checked the Google search engine, and could not find the company listed.
Can anyone help me to determine if the company was taken over by another insurance company, and possibly the new name of the company.
