As a child in the sixties, I remember my grandfather being very good friends with a man named Charles Economos.  They had both come from the same village in Greece, Epirus(sp?).  Mr. Economos came to our home every Sunday for dinner and I remember my grandmother made him  a special apple pie since Mr. Economos was diabetic.

Ther is an Economus Paint co on Chandler st in worcester perhaps relitives?
