Post by: Handsailor on September 21, 2011, 01:06:07 PM
I was wondering if anyone knows what ever happened to the Singas family and house of pizza. My life isn't the same without there famous hamburg pizza.

I worked at  the West side  house of pizza also Pleasant St. when Claude owned it (1967-1971) I lived behind it on Pleasant Terr.  My name is David Daniels, I worked there during the day and some nights when I wasn't working with  my bands (the Nite Riders and Dave Daniels and Us) Claude sold the business to Georgette (don't know her last name),   My brother Lee Daniels worked the The HOUSE OF PIZZA  I haven't been in touch since I left Worcester, but when I visited in 1998 I believe the Duesharms (spelling?) still owned the House Of Pizza, there were two brothers.

thanks for bringing these memories back
David.

Wow. Which place was it? ... on Pleasant Street, out west of Tatnuck Square, just before Airport Drive, in that Pizza place over there ... a guy we called "Frog" (Michelle, something) worked there. I'll never forget their sausage and meatball subs.
