Worcester Fire 6th Annual 6K Race

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WFD 6k Race
The Worcester Firefighters Memorial Race Committee is proud to bring you it's 6th annual 6K race on Sunday June 12th starting in Institute Park. The past five road races have generated over $133,000 in proceeds, which have been donated to local charities and non-profit organizations in the Worcester area.

It is our intention to once again, this year, donate the proceeds to charities and non-profit organizations right here in the Worcester community, our way of giving back for all the support we have received since that tragic day, Dec. 3rd, 1999.

The Memorial 6K offers a day of fun for the entire family with free food, live entertainment, raffles, a Kiddie Corner and more. Your support will be a tremendous contribution towards our efforts to give back to the community and pay tribute to our six brothers who made the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives in the line of duty.

Please join us at this year’s event and visit the awards table for your gift in appreciation of your contribution.

If you have any questions or would like to know this years charities please call John at (508) 829-3184.

Also, remember that Sh-Booms will be hosting a Post-Race Party starting at 5pm the day of the race. All participants are invited to come join the join the fun.

Thank you for your time, W.F.D.6K Committee
