I just found this site and read that Worcester should be pronounced WOO - STER, and not WUSS - TER.  I grew up in Worcester and spent my first 25 years there.  It's WUSS - TER, not WOO -STER.

Any way you say it, always comes out WORCESTER

Worcester, Mass. has forever been confused (by outsiders) with Wooster, Ohio.
