Title: Bogle Family in Worcester
Post by: suzi_catz on December 23, 2011, 05:59:42 AM
Hello - I've begun researching the Thomas F Bogle family ca. 1860 in Worcester.  I have located them in City Directories (earliest is 1861) State census 1865, and Federal census beginning 1870.  I've also found Thomas Jr listed in Emmett Guard rosters at the end of the 19th century.  Up til this time I have been unable to find Thomas F Bogle and wife Rosanna McCabe Bogle, arrived in the US and where in Ireland they came from.

Has anyone here researched this family?

thanks for any help you may be able to give.

Thomas was a moulder, a skilled profession.  He died in 1897 the son of William Bogle and Mary Lawlor.  His obit would probably be in the Worcester papers.  His wife Rose (sic) died in 1909 was the daughter of William McCabe and Rose McLean.  No place of birth for either.  You might try naturalization records for Thomas.  I do have a Bernard McCabe in my master file who was from county Roscommon who might be related to Rosanna (Rose).  Will try to send you a few newspaper articles...do you know what street they lived on?
