Title: Relocating to Mass, need advice!
Post by: Yaron Shragai on October 23, 2002, 02:18:38 AM
Hello,

I'm relocating to Mass in January, and would appreciate any advice - especially on where to live.

I will be working in Shrewsbury.  My S.O. would presumably be working in/around Boston.  So, we'd like to live in a place that's a reasonable drive from Shrewsbury and a reasonable train ride into Boston.
We'd like to be in a nice area, but one that has not succumbed to Silicon Valley style sprawl.
We'd like to rent a house, but would consider an apartment as well - 2BR, 1100 sq. ft. minimum.

We're tentatively thinking Framingham may be a good place for us, but, since we've never been to the metro-west area, we don't know with any certainty.

Any opinions/advice about Framingham or the metro-west area in general?

Also: My S.O. is a highly qualified art therapist with experience in other forms of non-verbal therapy.  Any leads on institutions that may be interested in her services?

Thanks,
Yaron

Don't bother......  Relocate anywhere else.... Worcester sucks.
