I need to pinpoint the geographic townland/parish/location in county Louth of my grandfather's cousin's side of the McEvoy branch. My grandfather was Thomas Aloysius McAvoy and his cousin was Dr. Thomas Edward McEvoy married in 1900 to Mary Weldon Spencer daughter of James and Margaret ( O'Donnell ) Spencer of Worcester.
Dr. McEvoy's parents were: Patrick McEvoy b. abt. 1829 in Ireland and Mary Daw McEvoy b.?? who's parents were John and Mary Daw b.?? Ireland, county Louth???
***It's this next group whom I am extremely interested in the location in county Louth!!! The above "Patrick McEvoy's" parents: Catherine KIRK McEvoy b. abt. 1810? in Ireland d. June 6, 1885 ( Boston arrival 12/13/1850; Thomas McEvoy b. abt 1814 in Ireland-----if I could get more information on him, it would greatly help with my direct line because Thomas is the brother of yet another "Patrick" my great, great grandfather in county Louth.
