The Hospital Cottage For Children

 I recently found that one of the connected families I am researching-the family is from Lawrence/Metheun area seems to have placed a child-aged 11-in this facility in Templeton.

  I am thinking that this was a home for children with either difficult physical or mental abilities but thus far I have found virtually no information about it.

  Anyone ever hear about it or come across any information in their research?

   I did find a little bit on Google later. It sounds like it was an attempt to teach a degree of self sufficiency to the mentally retarded.
