How would one go about finding service history of a soldier killed in battle in WW2? Also about the GoldStar Mother program his Mother was given?
He was Paul Claflin Ware and he is buried in Hope Cemetery.
He was born in Worcester and is buried there. ???  :-* :-*???

You should make a call to Karen Greenwood at the City of Worcester Veteran's Services' Office at 75 Skyline Drive in Green Hill Park. She is very helpful Her telephone number is 508-799-1042. They have DD214 (discharges) of thousands of Worcester residents who served in wars dating back to the Civil War.
Good Luck.
