I noticed you were looking for info around 46 High St That is almost across the street from St. Pauls Cath. Also there was a home for single females to room at at about that address run by Nuns I know of going back before the 1960's. They also had a Detox Center next door run by the same Nuns. I'm not sure off the top of my head when St Pauls opened yet know for fact the oldest Catholic Church in that area was St John's on Temple St. Feel free to ask anything I might be of help with. I've been doing my families genealogy which starts all around that area in about 1865.
