Title: Looking for some info on Fallen fire fighter

Yes i am hoping that someone will be able to tell me how to gain info on my grandfather who was a member of the fire department and was killed in the line of duty.I am not sure what town it was in but if anyone who could help me find a way to get any info i would really appriciate it. Thank you

If you know the date of his death, then most likely there was something in the Worcester T & G, reporting on the fire and his death.

The Worcester Public Library has back issues of the Worcester newspaper on microfilm.

If you are not from this area, then if you post his name and death date perhaps someone will look up the information for you.

Try looking under the
U.S. Fire Administration
When you get there, check under
Fire Fighter Fatalities.
